Solar Lawn Light

This year's choice appears to be another North Face backpack...the North Face Recon backpack which a Solar Laptop Backpack, for her laptop. Fortunately, there are eight colors to choose from, and I'm guessing (given the mood lately) that we'll opt for a darker color. No more pink backpack, definitely not a flower backpack or even the plaid backpack... at least not in the foreseeable future.

The solar panels on the Solar Laptop Charger use photovoltaic cells. They are basically super conductors that can turn the photons (light energy) into electricity. It is the same technology that powers the international space station and Hubble telescope!

Enjoying your outdoor space is no fun if you have to just go inside when the sun goes down.  But wiring and trenching for lights can be costly and time consuming.  Thank goodness for the sun, which provides us with ample free energy.  Solar Lawn Lamp post lights are a great way to brighten your outdoor space and not break your bank account.  Here are some cool features of these products.

One type of Solar Lawn Lantern that you may want to consider is hanging lanterns. These lanterns usually hang from some type of a rope, and they look great hung around your patio, porch, or even around a garden or down a walkway. If you go with hanging lanterns that are solar powered, you will not have to worry about running cords through your yard or trying to hook in to the electric, since they will just use the power from the sun. So, you will find that these hanging lanterns that use solar power are an excellent options.

The second drawback to Solar Lawn Light is that because they have to have a solar panel on top, the designs your can choose are a little more limited. Certain fixtures like recessed up lights may not be available in models that tap into the power of the sun.
